MEET THE TEAM

Sade Meeks, Founder

As a first-generation college graduate, Sade didn't have a lot of knowledge or guidance on what resources were available to finance her education when she was in high school. This made her journey to winning private scholarships way more difficult than she could have anticipated. However, it doesn't have to be hard. Earning scholarships can be accessible and easy to learn for everyone. With this platform, there are no limitations to the number of scholarship winners that can be created.

“As a first generation college student, The Scholarship Collective newsletter has helped me beyond words. I didn't really know how to navigate scholarships and which ones to believe but with the help of this newsletter it has given me the skills to know what to expect when it comes to scholarships. I find myself checking my emails every time I get the chance. Not only has this scholarship journey motivated me to apply as much as I can but it also helped me to realize just how many opportunities are out there. Overall, I am highly grateful to have a resource like this because without it, I’d be lost.” — Calina Jones, DePauw University
