2. Marshall Scholarship
As future leaders, with a lasting understanding of British society, Marshall Scholars strengthen the enduring relationship between the British and American peoples, their governments and their institutions. Marshall Scholars are talented, independent and wide-ranging, and their time as Scholars enhances their intellectual and personal growth. Their direct engagement with Britain through its best academic programmes contributes to their ultimate personal success.

3. The Loy McCandless Marks Scholarship in Tropical Horticulture
To promote the study of tropical horticulture and landscape architecture.
Amount: $5,000
Eligibility: US residents, must travel within 12 months of award, focus on Horticulture and Landscape Architecture

4. Ibn Battuta Scholarship
The Ibn Battuta Scholarship is open to individuals who have studied the Arabic Language for at least four (4) university semesters and who are planning to enroll in one of the study abroad semester programs offered at the Qalam wa Lawh center in Rabat, Morocco.
Amount: Full Ride - Tuition Only
Eligibility: College Upperclassman or Graduate, Foreign Studies

5. Helyn B. Reich Memorial Scholarship
Reich scholarships are awarded each fall and spring to a limited number of American students who choose to study at one of several designated Israeli universities or attend post-college long-term programs. The scholarship seeks to recognize candidates who have demonstrated academic excellence, pro-Israel activity in their personal lives and show a commitment to future involvement with the Jewish and Zionist community.
Amount: $1,500
Eligibility: Accepted to study program in Israel, Jewish affiliation

6. Tortuga Study Abroad scholarship
Young people deserve to experience the world beyond their college campuses, but not everyone can afford to travel, especially if you’re on a student budget. Sponsored by the Backpack company Tortuga, not the island of Haiti.

Eligibility: US Citizen, full-time undergrad student, accepted and eligible for abroad study program

7. Levy Scholarship for Study in Israel
The Julie and Ed Levy Jr. Endowed Fund for Scholarships for Student Leaders Studying in Israel offers scholarships for academic study in Israel and for enrichment activities for students at MSU before, during, or after study in Israel.

Eligibility: Michigan State Sophomore to Senior, 2.5 GPA

8. Rotary Peace Fellowships
Through academic training, practice, and global networking opportunities, the Rotary Peace Centers program develops the capacity of peace and development professionals to become effective catalysts for peace. The fellowships cover tuition and fees, room and board, round-trip transportation, and internship and field-study expenses.

9. Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program
The U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program enables students of limited financial means to study or intern abroad, providing them with skills critical to our national security and economic prosperity.

10. Jennifer C. Groot Memorial Fellowship
Jennifer C. Groot Memorial Fellowships provides up to four awards for undergraduate or graduate students to enable their participation in an archaeological excavation or survey in Jordan. The fellowships are to assist in partial payment of essential expenses and are strictly limited to students with little or no prior archaeological field experience.
