1. ForEverglades Scholarships

Description: The Everglades Foundation provides scholarships and fellowships to graduate research students pursuing the development of innovative scientific methods to advance the understanding of Everglades physical, chemical or biological processes, or research in the economic impacts of environmental changes.

2. PHF Reagan Sloane Shanley Scholarship

Due Date: 7/31/2023

Amount: $10,000

Description: The purpose of the PHF Reagan Sloane Shanley Scholarship is to encourage students and researchers in the applied sciences to explore/find practical solutions to help alleviate hydrocephalus, a debilitating condition with no known cure. This scholarship is available to applicants with an interest in the discipline of neuroscience and/or engineering and have an understanding and/or current interest in hydrocephalus, cerebral spinal fluid & the brain.

3. Secular Activist Scholarships

Amount: $1,000 - $2,000

Description: The Secular Student Alliance offers a variety of student activist scholarships for full-time high-school and college students pursuing excellence in their academic studies and activists for secular values on their campus and/or in their community.

4. Alliant Credit Union Members Scholarship

Due Date: 7/14/2023

Amount: $2,000

Description: For members of Alliant Credit Union for all applicants from high-school graduates to mid-career students.

5. Elevate Scholarship Program

Due Date: 7/15/2023

Amount: $500

Description: Elevate Advanced Manufacturing promotes great careers in advanced manufacturing.

6. Joy Chappel Scholarship

Amount: $2,500

Description: The scholarship is intended to foster a new generation of researchers and help support these young investigators in their scientific training.

7. David F Ludwig Memorial Student Travel Scholarship

Due Date: 7/1/2023

Amount: $1,000

Description: This scholarship was established to recognize students pursuing research in Ecology and Ecological Sciences. Dr. Ludwig’s passion for science, travel, education, and exploration are the inspiration for this award, and the AEHS Foundation is pleased to do our part to carry on his legacy.

8.    Khyentse Foundation Individual Practice Grants

Amount: $5,000

Description: Khyentse Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 2001 by Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche to support all traditions of Buddhist study and practice.

9. Jacob Smaus SuperHero Scholarship

Due Date: 7/1/2023

Amount: $1,000

Description: Applicants may be involved in community service on a volunteer-basis, non-profit organizational support or simply demonstrate acts of selflessness on a regular basis.

12. American Red Cross - Leaders Save Lives Scholarship

Description: For students of any level who have hosted an American Red Cross blood drive in the US between June 1 and August 31 or during December 15 to January 15 of the previous season.

13. Christ the Teacher Institute Catholic Scholar’s Program

Due Date: 8/25/2023

Amount: $5,000

Description: The Christ the Teacher Institute houses Sheil’s principal education and formation programs. Its primary mission is to form Catholic leaders for the Church and the world through the integration of scholarship, prayer, service and leadership.

14. McDonald’s TMCF All Around Scholarship

Description: Applicants must be students at a Thurgood Marshall College Fund applicable school and produce a video how the education will benefit them, their family and community.
